My factory Rubber Expansion Joints are flexible and durable connections installed in piping systems handling virtually all fluids, gasses or chemicals under pressure and/or vacuum. The four basic functions of My factory Rubber Expansion Joints are to:
.Isolate of reduce vibration caused by motive equipment, such as centrifugal pumps and fans.
.Compensate for movements (longitudial, transverse and angular) that result when pumps, compressors. fans, piping and related items of equipment go out of line because of wear, stress of settling of supporting foundations.
.Act as helix springs, compensating for axial movements, and allow expansion or contraction or contraction movements due to thermal changes and hydraulic surges.
.Dampen the transmission of unwanted system noises.
